Meyyafushi

Opened on 1 October 2025, Meyyafushi is a brand-new five-star premium all-inclusive resort on a natural island in the Lhaviyani Atoll, a 35-minute scenic seaplane flight from Velana International Airport. Its 95 villas and suites each come with a private pool, and the resort runs on BeKind hospitality: kindness to the environment, the community, visitors, and residents. As the sister property to the award-winning Fushifaru Maldives, it pairs barefoot elegance with an eco-conscious conscience, and its signature experiences include the Maldives' first overwater padel court and an underwater restaurant.

Accommodations & Design
Villa categories span beach villas, semi-ocean villas, water villas, and suites from 185 to 610 square metres (plus the 950-square-metre Meyya Residence), each with soaring ceilings, warm natural textures, golden accents, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Every villa includes personalised butler service. The Water Pool Suites with Slides are the property's hero image. Interiors balance comfort with architectural drama, and the layout keeps private pool areas un-overlooked.

Amenities & Inclusions
Dining: Across 10 venues: Bubble, the underwater restaurant; Sukun, for teppanyaki; a 24-hour cafe; an overwater wine cellar; and the adults-only Sky Bar with a glass-bottom pool and Sunken Lounge. Wellness: Veyoge, a semi-water spa blending ancient healing traditions with modern therapies. Recreation: The overwater padel court, a mini-bowling lane, a 24-hour overwater fitness centre, tennis and multi-purpose courts.

Marine: A PADI dive centre, plus snorkelling and diving guided by the resident marine biologist, with manta rays, reef sharks, and turtles on nearby sites; watersports from jet skiing and parasailing to kite surfing, catamaran sailing, and windsurfing. Excursions: Snorkelling trips, sunset cruises, and dolphin cruises, plus personalised boat charters for fishing, snorkelling, and diving arranged with the resident marine biologist. Families: The Kokko Kids Club with skate ramp, climbing wall, splash pool, and creative play zones.

How Private Is This Island?
Privacy here is vibrant seclusion: villas are widely spaced so private pools are never overlooked, and the Meyya Residence sits at the furthest point of the overwater jetty for absolute isolation. For grand gatherings, the layout suits weddings and corporate retreats, with space for social events alongside private sanctuary zones for more than 200 guests.
